  • A grim tale of Belgian colonialism

I knew much of the history of the Belgians in the Congo and this fills in many of the details. On the distaff side, the book production values are poor: poor quality paper and illustrations suffer as a result - I would buy a decent hard cover copy

  • A great piece

Though still reading it but it portrays how greed led to the looting of Africa's wealth. I think that the Western and Arab world should apologise to Africa for the inhuman treatments of her people in the past.

  • Well researched with sound internal and external validity relative to Africa and Regions of our world inflicted with the European Empire.

It is diagnostic and analytic of the source, origin, an thereby the solution of Africa's contemporary seemingly intractable problems.
