Kids learn more than 90 educational skills in this JumpStart CD-ROM software video game for first graders that features adjustable difficulty levels for everyone from beginner to advanced students so they can participate in more complex activities as they progress through the year. This allows them to progress through the program at their own pace, making JumpStart for 1st Grade ideal for remedial students who need a little extra help and practice outside of the classroom as well as advanced students who need additional stimulation beyond what their classes offer. Plus, they earn points that they can trade in for milk cap rewards. First graders also visit the school cafeteria, overseen by Ms. Pickles, and learn basic math skills with activities such as using the virtual cash register to ring up other students’ lunch purchases. From there, they venture along with Frankie to the playground, where they test their knowledge by playing math marbles and other games and activities. The JumpStart for 1st Grade software game from Knowledge Adventure also helps kids hone their creativity and art skills via activities such as a simple paint game and by playing “Music in the Mouse Hole," which features a mouse orchestra. If students run into trouble while using the JumpStart video games, there’s a special tutor mode to help guide them through the activities to success. Designed to teach the first-grade curriculum, JumpStart for 1st Grade from Knowledge Adventure includes activities such as counting money, and lessons include “Bean Bag Science,” “Lost and Found,” and “Spelling Soup.” Start your child with JumpStart for 1st Grade software and then progress through the entire series of Knowledge Adventure JumpStart CD-ROM games and activities, including those for second grade, third grade, fourth grade, and on up to the fifth-grade version and beyond. Children of younger ages can benefit by starting with the toddler, preschool, or kindergarten version of the JumpStart software games and apps and then progress through the entire series of games and activities. First grade level CD
I am still waiting for another response from the buyer because my program CD has a glitch in it that one part of the challenges does not perform so the child can't complete the equations. I asked for a replacement at no cost to me I would gladly send this one back to him.
