Every magician should read once - Then it will go back on the shelf.
This book is frequently recommended as the the book to take your magic from beginner to intermediate level. It is very well written with some excellent content and whilst I it has been a good and interesting read it is a book for magicians who want to do magic to entertain the magic community. The effects are brilliantly presented and you will learn a lot. The moves are tough and your dexterity will improve but punters half drunk in a noisy environment won't give a monkey's about cards turning over one by one before their bleary eyes. I wish there was more places where this sort of cleverly thought out parlour magic would work but sadly Magic clubs to the cognoscenti is the only remaining space.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
