Not bad
This has helped to some extent with our dog's behaviour issues - I can now take him out and about without him going mental every time we pass another human or dog, as long as that person or dog doesn't make a sound. He can obviously see much less - I have to steer him past lamp posts so he doesn't bump into them, and he will trip up kerbs when he is wearing it. He doesn't mind wearing it too much - we did the whole process of slowly getting used to it, with rewards. But he does tend to want to rub his face, and by rubbing his face on the ground (on grass or carpet), he can pull the elasticated nose band up past his eyes if I don't intervene. I think it's a bit overpriced for what it is. And the velcro sticks to the material of the cap so when you pull it off it snags the material (a bit like when you put something with velcro in the washing machine with a pair of tights!).Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

At last a peaceful journey!

Amazing tool to have

Wonder cap

Really works
I bought this as my recently adopted rescue dog barked a lot in the car. Whenever we passed another dog as we drove along he would start barking and it would take him ages to settle down again. He has no objections to having the calming cap on and he usually settles down and barely notices other dogs out of the car windows. The calming effect also seems to carry on for a short while after the cap is taken off. I have not used it in any other situations but might try it next time we go to the vet.
