A great little gadget for a competitive price. It hugely simplifies the dilemma of achieving a straight and true cut for bars and steerer tubes. Straightforward to use and spot on every time. Note - always use a good quality hacksaw blade and if you are cutting carbon, use the correct blade.

Much cheaper than the park tool version and does the same job
I bought this to cut down the steerer tube down on my carbon forks. After having read mixed reviews on other guides that the park tool csb-1 blade won’t fit in the guide. I took the plunge and bought this one and it worked perfectly. I would recommend this version to anyone.

Great tool. Well made.
Sturdy, well made and cheaper than the same tool made by other brands. Worked perfectly for me on a carbon steerer (with a carbon blade). Didn’t need to clamp the tool onto a vice as I just held the forks firmly on a flat surface.
