Interesting surreal film but bad colouration
The film was set in Tossa de Mer and it was a place I visited on holiday; and therefore was curious to see the film. The film is interesting with some surreal elements and was not what I expected at all. It is recommended. However, was the film originally in black and white? This question has arisen by the strange coloration that appears to be a clumsy attempt at a later date. This unfortunate visual aspect somewhat spoiled the viewing. If originally in color, it could be an inferior copy.

I received the package on time, Pandora and the Flying Dutchman on DVD, originally made in 1950. I remember seeing this movie on TV during my childhood, I didn't fully understand it at the time, I only recalled certain scenes. I saw it again many years later, and realised what a special movie it is, James Mason as the enigmatic Dutchman, and Ava Gardner as the spirited and flighty Pandora, who falls in love after meeting him on his yacht. This movie is a romantic fantasy, beautifully filmed, and set in 1930, and I recommend this DVD to everyone who enjoys an unusual love story from the classic age of cinema...
