Additionally, you will enjoy more tone controls than with a factory radio as this receiver offers a three-band EQ, bass boost, and Supreme Setting feature that enhances the sound of music played through MP3 players. This receiver enhances your car stereo experience by allowing you to store all your favorite radio stations. The receiver is equipped with an AM/FM tuner that has the capacity to store 12 AM and 18 FM stations using the unit’s presets. The bright one line display provides clear and easy to read white display text in a dot matrix text display. In addition, it features red illuminated button lighting for easy navigation, even at night. The display shows information about music content, such as the song title, artist, and album and makes it easier to navigate the menu. This model includes a variety of high-quality stock features, such as an electronic shock protection and a single pre-out with a low pass filter. The low pass filter is useful for amplifiers powering subwoofers by keeping damaging high- and mid-range frequencies from being passed through speakers, which are designed to handle only low frequencies. The peak power output is 50 watts by 4 channels with an RMS power output of 22 watts by 4 channels. The built-in equalizer features a three-band parametric equalizer with eight selectable tone curves. The receiver does not have Bluetooth compatibility but does include a front AUX input with a 3.5mm stereo input jack. Connect any audio device that contains a jack for headphones to the AUX output with an AUX cable to listen to music through your connected device through the vehicle’s speakers. The receiver supports MP3 players and other portable audio devices, such as an iPod. Among the receiver’s unique accessories is a security enhancing feature. The unit is equipped with a theft deterring removable faceplate to prevent theft. The accessories include a wireless remote control, which allows you to control volume, switch music sources and change to preset modes from inside or outside your vehicle. The Kenwood KDC-152 receiver comes with accessories that include the wiring harness, two removal tools, the screws required for installation, and a wireless remote with a lithium battery.
