Used this to travel to the UK. Worked in Scotland and Northern Ireland on our British Isle cruise. Also used extensively in Switzerland for navigation and looking up things to see, do and eat. Never had an issue on my Verizon issued Iphone. I put in the sim card in the states and created my account and started my 30 day play with the credit on their website before I got there. Tested the sim card in the US to make sure. Required me to relogin to my accounts (gmail, work emails, icloud) but wasn't an issue. after that I made my first "call" to just my wife's cell to initiate the sim. The first call was something like "this sim card will be activated in 2-5 mins. please try again at that time". after 5 mins I tried again and it said "you do not have any allowance on your account please add some and recall". Got a little worried but remembered I only have data in the US with this card. searched for new email and it pulled in a few new emails. Tested Imessage (data usage) and worked great. Called with a data selected app and it worked. so I was happy. replaced my verizion sim till the voyage and put in the new sim while waiting for the plane.
