If you like biographies then this might be worth a look. If you like road cycling it’s probably worth a look. If you like both, read it. I thoroughly enjoyed it, couldn’t put it down (apparently?).

As a cyclist of many (many) years who has just recently taken an interest in road racing, I thought this might be an interesting read, which it certainly was. A pretty gritty and individual view of the world of the professional cyclist. Possibly a little self indulgent in places, but I can live with that, given how Millar has had to find his own way. This is not a tell all expose, but much more a 'this is what happened to me' warts and all account. I found it an absorbing read, and a real eye opener.
Bought for a friend who is a cyclist and he loved it
