I needed to replace my old adaptor because after a recent Windows update the Bluetooth audio quality went really bad. I tried to fix it but with no luck. So I decided to buy a new and better adaptor. I chose this Asus model because it works directly with Windows native Bluetooth controls, rather than use third party software, so I figured that would probably be more compatible, So far I haven't been disappointed. It has fixed the audio issue, the audio is perfect now. It's also faster and easier to use. E.g. I don't have to restart Windows to get it to work which used to happen all the time with the old adaptor. So generally a much better adaptor and does the job very well. I'm pleased with it.

This is a very good solid piece of equipment, which works well, but I have has some issues with it. It only uses its own drivers, so would not run as a native Bluetooth adapter in windows XP. This also resulted that every time I put on the computer, or woke it from standby, it looked at it as new hardware and installed it again. They could not give me new drivers to fix this issue. This is quite annoying and spoils its performance greatly.

This thing has some serious driver issues with Windows 10. Very buggy, freezing the whole system, interrupting USB devices and endless Bluetooth disconnections. I have checked for every possible solutions, my BT devices were tested with different dongles and no issues were present, except with this one. After almost three-week battle, I gave up and got rid of it. Thought I better invest in a trouble-free branded expensive dongle to be on a safe side, now I wonder how cheap chinese dongles perform without a single problem.

CHEAP AND FUNCTIONAL had a few problems as it will not recognise a Samsung MOTO G Bluetooth connection to send but at same time accepts Bluetooth from the MOTO G which is strange
