"What Would You Do? : A Kid's Guide to Tricky and Sticky Situations" by Linda Schwartz is a self-help book geared towards children, focusing on social topics and general guidance. Published in 1991 by Creative Teaching Press, this trade paperback features illustrations by Beverly Armstrong. The book offers 184 pages of advice and support for young readers facing challenging situations, making it a valuable resource for navigating difficult situations in a positive and constructive manner."
I checked and there aren't a lot of books out there geared towards kids that cover this info. Most of them just talk about stranger danger or bullying or whatever. But not a lot about dealing with sticky situations. It is dated and we're not going to use parts of the book, but it's worth getting for a collection. I wish the author (or someone else) would update the book for kids who stay at home by themselves.
