Quality with great scent
Lovely marzipan smell but not long lasting. First time I used it was a little disappointed as the lather dissipated quickly. Rectified by applying more of it to the brush on subsequent shaves. To be fair I was using a new brush which may have something to do with it. Almond joy
If you think paying nearly 10 quid is to much for shaving soap then you haven't tried this awesome stuff....its no wonder that Cella have been selling this beautiful soap since 1899...for its price it is an absolute bargain and the rich lather it produces is up there with the likes of Geo F Trumper or Taylors of old bond Street...the beautiful smell of almonds just makes you want to eat it (not a good idea obviously)...treat yourself it's worth every penny and more and your wife or husband will love that you smell like a bakewell tart after a shave.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

A good shaving soap that's easy to get a good, rich lather from. I face lather and with a good brush you can get a good brush full for a three pass shave without any problems. You'll be hard pressed to find better looking packaging for your Mr Retro. It smells pretty old school pleasant, like a music teacher you had a crush on in the 80s. Smashing gift to go with the razor set I bought someone for Christmas. Old Fashion Almond Barber Scent - Lovely
This shaving soap is almost a halfway house between soap and cream. It comes in a very solid screw top plastic jar, and whips up very easily in to a smooth creamy lather. It has a subtle almond soapy scent, which I would associate with an old fashion barber.
