Good value & price.
I bought this 9 cell battery to replace the original 6 cell battery in my Acer laptop. It fits, although is bigger than the original battery, with an additional ridge which projects on the underside, tipping the laptop up at a slight angle at its back edge. This doesn't cause a problem although it does make the laptop effectively thicker. The battery is rated with a significantly higher capacity than the original 6 cell battery, so should last longer between charges. It's been in use for about 2 weeks now and so far has performed well, although it's too soon to rate its longevity or durability.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

9 cell battery for ACER Aspire 5552.
I am happy with the battery. it is early days we only had it for couple of weeks. We are getting about 3 hours use out of the battery on a single charg. I believe stand by time would be longer. There are some misleading reviews on eBay claiming 6 Hours life on this battery. Large when compared to original battery
On an Aspire 5552 I get around 4 hours use from this. The battery is much bulkier than the original, adding about an inch to the height of the rear of the laptop when it sits on a desk. It also feels quite a bit heavier. The fit is good and it charges OK.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Improved capacity battery in comparison to previous
Whilst it is still early days, so far I have been very pleased with the overall performance of the laptop battery which seems to have increased my available time of computer usage before needing to charge which was my prime aim of the purchase. No issues for me in regard to the laptop being slightly more elevated at the rear than when using the previous battery. Replacement battery for Acer Aspire 5742 giving longer working time between charges.
Fitted in place of the original battery very easily. Because it has a greater electrical capacity, it is physically larger. The extra battery size extends along the width of the battery such that when it is installed the laptop, no longer sits completely flat but is raised up slightly at the rear. This slopes the keyboard forwards slightly and makes typing easier. Does the job well and at a low cost.
Exellent replacement for an old laptop battery. Old battery lasted 28 minutes this one now lasts over 4.5 hours so very pleased. It does raise the laptop up at the back a little but no problems at all with that as it allows the air to flow better. Overall it's a very good battery at a very good price, many thanks.
