I bought this globe for my elderly mother who has dementia and who could no longer visualise where family members were travelling to and telling her about their holiday. The scale of the countries is small but it quickly gave her an idea of how far they had travelled and has been a useful jog for her memory of places she has been to. As the names and the borders of some countries change from time to time the globe is already out of date but only by changes made in the last three or four years - it was certainly fine for our purposes. The fact that it is a lightweight ball meant that we had some fun throwing and catching as well. Finally, we can pack it away and blow it up again next time we want to use it.

I bought these to use with my Year 3/4 class as a fun and inexpensive way to identify countries in our geography lessons. Unfortunately some of the countries are misshapen and unlabeled due to the seams on the inflatables. Fortunately I do not need to use most of these so the product will work OK for my classes.

When this inflatable globe first arrived it had a split by the valve, like a fast puncture so as we tried to inflate it just deflated again. On contacting the seller, they replaced it with no problems, and a new one arrived within a couple of days. The 2nd globe was perfect, no problems/splits/punctures. In fact it's so robust, our 2-3 year old toddler sometimes lies on top of it and rolls it around, with no adverse effects (so far!). It's brilliant for looking at different places in the world with our toddler, from storylines on TV shows (e.g. Octonauts) to where family and friends live or are travelling. A brilliant educational toy!

It is not a toy but a real up to date map of the world, clearly printed detail in English and being a globe, more useful than a map. I bought my first 20 years ago and have never been without one. Every traveller, everybody interested in travel should have one. 40cm inflated - not much bigger than a passport deflated. And if you want, you can also play with it on the beach or in the pool.

Excellent as a basic educational tool. Stays inflated well. However it’s not as big as I expected. Not sure how the 40cm measurement is taken. It’s not the radius measurement as I though it would be.
