Works fine. Easy to install, but the instructions that came with the item were incomplete and unsatisfactory.

Shimano Claris 2400 - great replacement for 8 speed 105 lever!
These are good functioning levers which I needed to replace broken 105 8 speed broken levers, and I would definitely recommend them as a great value. The online, professional reviews are very good, but they are definitely not the quality of top level Shimano products. I would also highly recommend eBay seller 365cycles whose staff was extremely communicative, patient and helpful while guiding me to make the correct choice and also purchasing replacement cables.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Little misdesign
When you put the bike upside down (to fix flat tire?) the shift pointer transparent cover is in a huge danger to be broken - so far I am yet lucky. This pointer is attractive but useless feature. On the other hand the Lever works flawlessly (for a year) and is much lighter then my previous (metal) one.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
