Compact and beautiful, the Tannoy Mercury M1 main speakers are stereo speakers that offer a large sound from a small enclosure. The external dimensions of these stereo speakers are just 300 mm (11.8 inches) high by 170 mm (6.7 inches) wide by 200 mm (7.9 inches) deep, making them ideally suited as replacements for a micro or midi hi-fi. The Tannoy Mercury M1 main speakers have an RMS power handling of up to 100 watts, making them ideal for most amplifiers on the market. These Tannoy Mercury M1 speakers are standard two-way units with a 130-mm (5.1-inch) long-throw paper bass cone driver coupled with a 25-mm soft dome tweeter with a crossover frequency of 2.5 kHz. As they have a rear reflex bass port for bass extension, these Tannoy Mercury M1 speakers are best sat close to a wall or in the corners of a room. Their sensitivity is 87 dB at 2.8 volts at 1 metre, and with a frequency response from 55 Hz to 20 kHz (± 3 dB) the Tannoy Mercury M1 speakers make a great addition to any small hi-fi.Product Identifiers
