Each of the Tannoy Mercury V1 main speakers has a nominal impedance of 8 Ohms, so they are suitable for just about any amplifier on the market. These Tannoy Mercury V1 speakers have two drive units. The bass within these Tannoy Mercury V1 main speakers is a 130-mm (5-inch) multi-fibre unit with a 25-mm (1-inch) soft-woven polyester dome tweeter. The frequency response from the Tannoy Mercury V1 speakers is from 45 Hz to 25 kHz. They have dimensions of 300 mm (11.8 inches) high by 170 mm (6.7 inches) wide by 254.5 mm (10 inches) deep.
