Good things come in........
Exceptional little speakers. Initially impressing with good build quality of both drivers and cabinets. Then you listen to them. If you aren't wearing a big daft grin within five minutes your system is at fault. A real joyful, lively, energetic and punchy little number. Siting in the room as far as frequency response is concerned is no problem at all, as light as they are the cabs are well made and not too resonant. However getting them to image is a different matter, they need to be at least 6"away from the rear wall, slightly toed in with the top of the cab being visible to you from your fave chair. It's worth the effort to get it right for you and your room. That little paper cone is fast, the tweeter is really sweet and crisp too, minimal crossover jiggery pokery very much in evidence. Weaknesses? Partner with care. A bright edgy set up fronted by these would be a hard listen. But to inject energy into a set up which is perhaps too smooth and polite? Definitely. For example i find the audio technica just too much for these, but the soundsmith loves them. Very definitely recomended, thrilling and grin inducing.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
