Quite cheap and just good enough
The NEET Airstream was bought to replace an Apple Airport Express. The NEET is not quite as stable, despite sitting right next to the router it suffers the occasional dropout. It is a LOT cheaper than the competition though, so I rate it as just good enough for the job. Ideal to cast music to an old AV receiver.
Works perfectly to play music from my Windows 10 laptop to my old AV receiver in the lounge. Much better than running a lead across the floor. Only problem was finding a piece of software that worked because Windows Media Player wouldn't - even though it could see the Airstream. Amazing for such a small and cheap device!
Bought this and wasn't expecting much... I was wrong - it blows sonos out of the water! Fed via a decent DAC into my KEF R500s this sounds brilliant.
