Why change a classic?
Its a strange thing in this day and age when you find something which does everything its supposed to do, does it every day, every month and every year without any real problems but that's what I found with the Samsung E-360 dvd player. Normally after a couple of years I would be looking to up-rate my dvd player but I purchased this model about 4 years ago and after scanning through loads of other dvd players decided that it was better to stay with something which I knew and never gave me a problem so I purchased another one. The dvd player is multi-region, I have no idea why people still buy region 2 players only, I've purchased dvd's from Australia and America which played without trouble but would never do a thing on a region 2 player, normally this means I can get hold of copies of a series before it is released in the UK, sometimes this can be a year earlier than usual. The set-up is so basic I think my cats could do it, just pop the scart lead into the back of the tv or cable box, plug it in and away you go, nothing could be easier. If you want something which will do everything you could think of plus do a can-can at the end of the day then this is not the dvd player for you, but if like me you enjoy doing things the easy way then look no further. Small in size but packed with all the features you would expect and the price, well they do get cheaper as time passes, I paid less for this new one than I did for the last one, bonus don't you think! Oh and as an aside, my wife and I are disabled, well shes retired now, so we do actually spend a heck of a lot of time watching dvd's, so when I say this will last the distance I speak from experience, just buy a dvd cleaner and pop it in every couple of months to ensure the laser is kept clean and you wont go far wrong.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
