The Toshiba DVD player includes a DSP processor from SHARC that ensures the device works quickly and smoothly. The built-in menu of the Toshiba HD-A2KU provides a selection of options like language choices, advanced navigation, and a choice of sound options. The Toshiba DVD player offers sound options like Dolby Digital 5.1 channel, Dolby DTS Surround Sound, and Dolby True HD sound. To provide connection to the Internet, the HD-DVD player features a RJ-45 Ethernet port. This allows the user of the Toshiba DVD player to download extra features and offer access to Internet source video companies like Netflix and Vudu for instant access to videos with a membership. Great bargain for a slightly used DVD player
This model is 8 years old but works great and has a HD image for my Yoga DVD's. Great price.

If sound on Toshiba HD does not work, try this
We have a new receiver, and when the HD player was attached to the HDMI input, we did not get sound. It was not the fault of the player. We hooked the player to the front auxillary HDMI and it worked perfectly.
