  • Memory Upgrade

Bought this for a Windows Laptop but found that it had two banks of memory but was only using one for 4Gb but wouldnt run this as a single bank for 8Gb. So I put it in my Macbook along side the 4Gb in bank one and presto I now have 12Gb in my Mac and the 4Gb out of my Mac is in the other bank of my Windows Laptop giving me 8Gb in that so happy chappie.

  • Low-cost performance enhancement

I had been wanting to upgrade my Macbook Pro's RAM for a while. I'm glad I waited because this was great value but I am also kicking myself that I put up with a frustratingly slow computer for so long. I just put one of these in to replace a 2GB stick, giving a total of 10GB. At the moment I don't feel the need to replace the other one but when i do hopefully the price will have come down even more! My advice - don't wait. This is an essential upgrade.
