  • Give extra volume and tonal definition.

I was already a fan of the D'Addario hard tension carbon trebles, having fitted them to other classical guitars that seemed a bit 'woolly' on the high strings. I find they give them back the missing definition without sounding overly brittle. The Dynacore Basses seem like a very good match for them, giving a nice 'tight' sound with plenty of volume available.

  • Great Strings!

A much harder tension with more volume as a result and some decent basses. Pitch takes a while to stabilise, top E seems to be the one that moves the most and needs more time to settle on this set it's usually the G I've found but you will find the D G E last and develop with age and I usually keep them for at least 3 changes of the others. Volume bass and decent sustain in attack and chords and a confident feel in finger picking. I have a cheapish Artisan guitar and after much experimenting with strings,I have to say I have stuck with these a while now. They last a long time too,and produce a great sound if you're willing to have patience with the tuning. Great strings!

  • Great strings always

D’Addario are just brilliant string makers I use them on all guitars, Electric, Acoustic and Classical guitars. The EJ46FF are really good strings loud carbons are lovely, maybe a bit bright for hard line classical players but I love them

  • Worth every penny

They’re not cheap but these strings have transformed my Taylor Academy Nylon string guitar. They sound vibrant, loud and responsive without seeming harsh and intonation on the G and B strings is spot on. Love these strings!

  • Hard tension - but not hard !

I have recently converted to using carbon fibre strings, and thought I'd try the harder tension. I was a bit worried that they would be too tight to let the top work properly; but instead they increased the volume and range of sound of the guitar and are still easy to play. Give them a try - you might be surprised !!
