Great action movie with a true story behind the plot
If you don't mind the CGI then this is a great movie, not that the CGI was bad just a bit obvious on Blu-Ray. The story has been adapted for the effects but it's still based on a true story and tells the determination of theses airmen If WW2 epics appeal to you this one is great but make sure you also watch the original movie, the Tuskegee Airmen, as wellVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

Mostly good
Overall a thoroughly enjoyable film with some memorable moments and lines. The acting and script are sound, and the action sequences well staged. The film spends a little too much time on the characters on not enough on the action and what they achieved, although you do get a summary of the medals in the credits. It portrays clearly the high level prejudice (and from other ranks), that they suffered through out the war. More could have been made of the incredible reputation they earned with the bomber crews and the huge difference they made to the success of the bombing campaign.
