A great product.
Essential oil, for multiple uses, a must have if you do not like the smell of turpentine when you are painting with oils. It's purity, and solvent abilities, make oil painting so much easier, without the smell and the toxic fumes we nearly always associate with turps. Spike lavender certainly is a little stronger on smell, with more of a camphor smell, which is still very pleasant. There are many uses for lavender oil and is still good for use around the home and for medicinal purposes. Another painter here...
Another painter who'se switched to using Spike Oil as a thinning solvent for oil paint instead of Turpentine and OMS due to the nausea I was feeling (even with good studio ventilation) from those solvents.
