About this product

Product Information

The Sennheiser CX 300-II Precision earbud-style headphones are great accessories that you can wear during any type of activity. They are lightweight, so carrying them on the go is easy. This Sennheiser gear has a helpful asymmetrical cable. The cable measures about 36 inches long. The longer end of the Y-shaped cord goes behind the neck and into the opposite ear. The cord's tangle-free design and easy folding structure make it convenient for travel and compact storage. Thanks to a noise-cancelling construction, outside stimuli are blocked out. This gives you a supreme audio experience every time. Any noise from traffic, coworkers, or machinery is eliminated to provide a pure musical experience. The high passive noise attenuation is constantly on so that all you hear is your audio. Their in-the-ear-canal design provides ambient noise isolation to improve your listening experience. A personalized fit helps these headphones remain comfortable and secure in your ears for hours. They are also built tough to last in any environment. The earbuds are made of a flexible silicone material. The earphones form a seal that is customized to the shape of your ears. Each side is labeled for the left or right ear. The silicon provides softness and flexibility for a comfortable headphone experience. It has a conveniently shaped 3.5-millimeter right-angled plug. This allows you to connect your Android smartphones, Samsung phones, tablets, or iPhone products. It also works with your video gaming system, iPod, or an e-reader. Its standard-sized headphone jack also connects to an Apple and Windows desktop or laptop computer. These headphones offer a striking bass, which is perfect for listening to genres like rap and R&B. The Sennheiser earbuds have dynamic transducers that deliver a powerful, bass-driven sound without any humming. The treble notes of each song are crisp, which provides sound quality that's good all-around. You can use these in-ear accessories for podcasts and audio books as they pick up the softest of voices clearly. These products have a 16-ohm impedance. This clarity is ideal for use with cellphones, especially if you are located far from a tower. With a frequency response of 42 to 17,000 Hz, you can hear instruments and voices with ease. Their dynamic transducer delivers an accurate stereo effect for melodies and instrumental songs. They also have 113 dB at 1 kHz per 1 volt of RMS sound pressure level. This allows you to turn your songs up as loud as you desire. Even at maximum volume, these headphones ensure that all sounds are clear and balanced.

    They're good but...

If you're only looking for sound quality then this product might be for you, but if an all around product is what you're after these are not the best product! Pros: Very detailed sound Good isolation from outside noise Cons: Build quality is horrendous (what I mean is that, the cables are extremely thin and flimsy looking) One headphone's cable is shorter than the other Extremely pronounced bass ( if you're looking for a flat frequency response these are not for you!) Extremely high sensitivity drivers (which mean that, without an external DAC, you'll constantly hear noise an crackling)

    Great sound and light weight

This earphone has all of the feature that should make for wonderful listening. However ear buds are to large to fit comfortably in my ears. My ear canal are of normal size and normally don't have this problem with others (including other models of Sennheiser).

  • Big sound in a little package

As is typical with most in-ear earbuds, they come with various sizes of pads to try for your ear size. I was pleasantly surprised with the sound quality and have actually been using Sennheiser products for many, many years with fantastic results. I still have a set from well over ten years ago that still work perfectly so there is also great quality to their products. The only thing I don't like is the length of the cord. This seems to be a shortcoming in many of the brands that I've tested over the years. I personally prefer a longer cord. That doesn't detract from their designed purpose but it something that is a selling point for me. I have only found one company that has the length of cord that I really like.

  • Lightweight with great overall sound and terrific bass

I already have a pair of the Sennheiser CX 300-II Precision In-Ear Earphones. This is my backup pair. I purchased my first pair of Sennheiser CX 300-II Precision In-Ear Earphones on the strength of online reviews of earphones. I was looking for a quality earphone at a reasonable price. I don't have the budget or the inclination to pay hundreds of dollars for earphones. Two things go into the greatness of a pair of earphones: the sound and the earbud fit. Sennheiser CX 300-II Precision In-Ear Earphones score high on both points, especially if you are partial to bass, as I am. Sennheiser CX 300-II Precision In-Ear Earphones come with three different sizes of earbuds, so you are sure to find the right fit.

  • Best bass sound for earphones

For the price, these are some of the very best sounding in ear headphones that I ever owned. Comparing to my JBL J22A - sennheiser are much better, imho. I use J22a for skype/webex and meetings , as it has built-in microphone, and sennheiser for listening music. I love these, and bought another pair for my wife. She is audiophile and asked me for earphones with balanced bass (she likes pop and trance). It comes with a suitable carrying case and different size earbuds so you can easily find the right fit. They are very light and neither me nor my wife did not feel better with any earphones.

  • High quality headphones

A++. These are great headphones that fit perfect and are the most comfortable headphones I've ever used. They have supper good highs and mids. They have super good bass also. For the price they are really good. I got them suspifically for the bass, and I was fully satisfied. All around great headphones

  • Good, but not great, sound.

Sound good, seem well made, come with a nice little pouch, but I like both my comparably priced Klipsch and my less expensive panasonic buds better.

  • Good value, great sound, really comfortable

I was familiar with the quality of Sennheiser's pro-audio products (mics and headphones) from my experience in studio and mastering engineering, so I hoped that these would be better than your typical came-with-the-phone earbuds. But to be honest, the quality of a lot of the earbuds that do come with the average cell phone these days really aren't all that bad, so I wasn't sure what to expect, especially at the low price. Fortunately, I've been very pleased with the CX 300 II. Sound quality is above average compared to the vast majority of the earbuds I've tried, with a reasonable frequency response range, and not overly boosted bass. And they are surprisingly effective at blocking out external noise as well. But most importantly, they're easily the most comfortable and most secure earbuds I've used. And they come with smaller and larger eartips/earpads to accommodate whatever your ears require. The included travel pouch is a really excellent accessory. And as expected, the quality of everything is in line with what I'd expect from Sennheiser's reputation, even though it's a consumer level product. Definitely good value for the money.

  • I was expecting more from Sennheiser, but for a cheap pair of earphones, I guess this is all it is.

Don't expect sound quality the likes of the HD598 and etc. The sounds are a bit more muffled. The bass is nice though. I hate how the left earpiece's wire is shorter than the right earpiece. But for the price I paid for, I guess I'm not complaining.

What a surprise for this price ... very light and confortable. Wire little bit thin. But good sound . High and bass nice.
