Stylish, fast and easy to use, however the battery life on this phone is poor. doesn't last a full day when you have apps running in the background. Cannot buy a decent replacement battery these days for them they are mostly fake and don't even charge properly, other than that not a bad phone.

"Good" is a strong word. "Functioning" would work better. Phone is extremely laggy compared to my old S3 and the phone's case has a large amount of scratches.

Overall a really nice phone and really easy to use. Has some great features like movement dialing from writing a text to deciding to call instead, just raise to the ear, it dials automatically!! Sharing with other samsung devices is a great feature too. The only real downside is the battery life, I'm finding I have to charge it on a daily basis eventhough I'm not using it a great deal, the odd call, odd text and a very small amount of internet time. I have had to buy a spare battery to change over within 24hrs. I have also bought the extra capacity battery too, but choose not to use it because the phone becomes too bulky. If your thinking of purchasing the S3, go ahead, you'll love it.
Great phone at a great price. Wanted something smart and top of the range and this is pretty much it. The size is a bit of an issue, don't expect to be using this phone with just one hand. It does, however, fit nicely into pockets due its brilliantly slim profile. Haven't got round to using the micro sd port, though just having it is a plus over many other phones. Most of samsung's apps work ok, but everyone has their own preferences. And due to the ridiculous specs of modern phones there shouldnt be any performance issues. A word about battery, I find that being selective about mobile data, wireless & gps use couple with near permanent power saving, provides a serious amount of battery life for a phone like this. I know for some this invalidates the purpose of buying a phone like this, but the switches controlling the options are so accessible it makes little difference. Most of the gestures are actually surprisingly usable, though a couple are just plain bunk. Having never owned a proper top end smart phone before I have nothing to compare the phone against. As a piece of tech it is simply brilliant.Read full review
The memory is 8 GB, not 16GB as stated, But I am very happy with the phone. Is is easy to use, works very vell, well designed and eficient. In my opinion this phone is much better that apple iphone 5 and much cheaper. there are hundreds of applications, many free. I would really recommend this phone, it is great.very good .very good.very good.very good.very good.very good.very good.very good.very good.very good.very good.very good.very good.very good.very good.very good.very good.very good.very good.very good.very good.very good.very good.very good.very good.very good.very good.very good.very good.very good.very good.very good.very good.very good.very good.very good.very good.very good.very good.very good.very good.very good.very good.very good.very good.very good.very good.very good.very good.very good.very good.very good.very good.very good.very good.very good.very good.very good.very good.very good.very good.very good.very good.very good.very good.very good.very good.very good.very good.very good.very good.very good.very good.very good.very good.very good.very good.very good.very good.very good.very good.very good.very good.very good.very good.very good.very good.very good.very good.very good.very good.very good.very good.very good.very good.very good.very good.very good.very good.very good.very good.very good.very good.very good.very good.very good.very good.very good.very good.very good.very good.very good.very good.very good.very good.very good.very good.very good.very goodRead full review
I had an old, simple Nokia mobile phone, which I had had for 6 years. However, I felt the need to move into the 21 century and upgrade to a smartphone. I had heard very good reviews about the Samsung Galaxy S3 from family, friends and product promotions and I loved the Pebble Blue colour. It was a simple choice for me as I was starting fresh with a smartphone - go for the phone that you like the look of and learn how to use it! The phone has all the features I would expect of a smartphone and I was quickly able to learn about these, despite being a bit of a dinosaur when it comes to modern technology. I was able to easily transfer across all my contacts, photos and ringtones via the computer without any trouble, and have applied my own ringtones and photos to contacts. I have downloaded apps and enjoy using the internet at any time I please. The keyboard is easy to use for the internet or messaging, even though my fingers are a little "dumpy". You can get other keyboard apps, but I am happy with the one that came with the phone. I am extremely pleased with the battery life. I had been told that smartphones use up battery life quickly and you have to charge them virtually every day, but that has not been the case with the Galaxy S3, something which I am very happy about. The phone is a lovely shape and the Pebble Blue colour has lived up to my expectations. I am a Pay-As-You-Go customer so I paid for the phone outright myself. The asking price on the High Street is very high and I would not have paid over £400 for the phone, but would have waited for the price to drop at some point. However, the deal on eBay made the phone much more affordable. Considering how long I had my previous phone and the fact that I am not a slave to new technology, as long as the phone remains in working order and suits my needs, I'm sure it will provide excellent value for money. I cannot think of anything bad to say about the Samsung Galaxy S3 or anything that I dislike about it. For me it is my ideal smartphone.Read full review
Really nice clear screen, and not too bulky. Battery life was shocking until I disabled a lot of Apps running in the background, and switch stuff on as and when I need it. Now I'm getting three days plus from a full charge.

This phone was already a good budget phone when they were still making them, and now it still does everything you'd expect while being even cheaper. The screen is a good size, and you can turn the brightness up quite high, so it's great to use. It is fairly large though, so it's probably not going to fit into pockets on women's clothes. If you're after the latest tech you should probably be on contract, but if you want a simple, reliable phone to go with a sim-only contract, that can still run some simple games and load webpages quickly, then this is my recommendation.

Large display screen an advantage for me. Able to read e-mails and type short reply or message when not near a computer. Able to use free WiFi signals when away from home or 3G signal strength poor. I like the thin phone and large screen size to look at things on the internet. There is an extensive range of Google & Samsung apps to choose from. Battery supplied did not last me much more than 2 days but bought a higher capacity one and it lasts over twice as long. This Samsung Galaxy S3 is a lot better for me than the Samsung Galaxy Wave mobile I had before.
You have probably read some other reviews about this product before finding mine. The GALAXY S3 apparently now outsells the iPhone. Apart from Android over iOS the features to bear in mind are: you can change the battery without dismantling the device, you can easily add extra memory, and you can get material on and off without using the world's most appalling piece of software, iTunes. As this review is being written Android Jellybean is being rolled out and now offers extensive voice search via Google. If you have the cash, buy an unlocked version and get yourself a separate SIM-only deal – far better than expecting the mobile phone companies to "subsidise" your purchase. Some of the lower-priced offerings are from the grey market – you may not get English documentation, but you will have no difficulty in getting the phone up and running!Read full review
