Conceived along the lines of Showtime's MASTERS OF HORROR, NBC's FEAR ITSELF was a dramatic anthology consisting of 13 separate hour-long films, each one a spine-tingling exercise in psychological and physiological terror. FEAR ITSELF boasted the combined efforts of some of Hollywood's top horror writers and directors, including John Landis, Stuart Gordon, Larry Fessenden, Mary Harron, and Brad Anderson. Similarly, guest stars were drawn from the ranks of the sci-fi/fantasy realm, among them LOST's Cynthia Watros, HEROES' Eric Roberts, and STAR TREK: ENTERPRISE's John Billingsley. Though not as explicit as MASTERS OF HORROR, the NBC series still succeeded admirably in raising the collective goose pimples of its fans. This collection presents the series' first and only season in its entirety.

Fear itself not scary
Thought with all the hype on box it would be great, afraid not. Seemed dated although good actors had lead roles e.g Eric Roberts, Elisabeth Moss. Very 70,s theme. Poor production quality in my view.

More Like This
This is an interesting series and is about time we had one like this. All different stories based on fear some scary others not so but why can't we in the UK make anything like this? The sad thing is the US didn't even finish broadcasting this so it wasnt pulling in the ratings and did not make a second series unbelievable when they lap up some appalling stuff.
