Works perfectly but designed is flawed
The switch works perfectly well, I had the 4 port D-Link previously but I had more internet attached items and needed extra ports. The thing I didn't spot before buying it was that hub lights are on the same side as the where the cable goes in, I would have preferred the same as the 4 port, but the real shame is that the power cable goes in the other side! So under my TV there is a wire hanging out the front of the box, with 8 cables going into the back of it. I think that's poor design. I should have spotted it, but I just went for next model up. It's functionalty is fine, absolutely no issues. Build quality is good.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
