Asrock 970 Extreme3 R2.0 motherboard
I should have heeded the negative reviews posted on newegg for this board. This motherboard has problems. I had a very difficult time getting it to power on- some form of poor connection either internal to the circuit board, the memory slots or CPU socket. By just touching the memory module or CPU fan the board would power up. A slight bump to the computer case caused it to shut down. I have managed to get it operating and it seems to perform OK, but I'm not sure for how long. I would not recommend this motherboard to anyone.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Good motherboard with lots of expansion slots
I purchased this motherboard because my computer stopped booting up. I wasn't sure whether it was the cpu (AMD Phenom II X4 965) or the motherboard. As it turned out, it was the motherboard that was bad. This is upgradeable to FX cpu's and uses 1600 DDR3 ram. It has overclocking ability for both cpu and ram and many other features. Great board when you need to update fast
