The Logitech Z906 speakers are designed with gaming and home media use in mind, maintaining a small space footprint as well as providing quality audio. As Logitech speakers, they draw on the years of experience the company has had in designing both gaming and personal media products to ensure a quality design capable of standing up to the demands of audiophiles. This speaker system is composed of four satellite speakers, a centre speaker, and a single dedicated subwoofer. Of note, these Logitech speakers support both Dolby Digital 5.1 and DTS decoding, further supporting their integration in a home cinema system. The Logitech Z906 speakers also possess 3D Stereo capabilities, taking a traditional stereo sound input and enhancing it for a deep, rich listening experience without surround sound. The numerous inputs available on this speaker system allow its use with a variety of devices and setups. Pricey at £200+ but you get what you pay for.
I have owned many 5.1 Sound Systems such as the Logitech Z623, Z506, X530 and Cambridge Systems but i can honestly say the quality of audio from these speakers surpasses them all, by a fair margin too! The main reason i bought this system was for the connectivity it provides, mainly the 2x Optical SPDIF Digital connections for my TV/PC and Xbox. High Quality System with amazing quality sound using either the Analog or Digital inputs, DTS and Dolby Digital surround sounds incredible for movies and games. Real booming bass when and where you want it all configurable from the center console. Love the simple yet functional remote control that lets you change speaker volumes and effects easily. Really loud and without distortion at max volume but be careful as you may break something in your house!, ground shaking bass. Best purchase for ages
Bought these for my PC. Read a few reviews and decided these were the ones to have. They were right. The sound is incredible, you will never need them at full volume unless you want to hear your music while you're a mile down the road. Speakers are reassuringly heavy and the overall sound quality is superb. Plugging the system in using the SPDIF optical output on the PC brings the rear speakers to life, using the 5.1 cable output doesn't sound anywhere near as good.
