A Great sounding set of floor standing speakers
The sound quality these speakers deliver on my 50W RMS per channel, KT88 Ultra linear Valve amplifier is amazing, and I am so pleased with my purchase. The removable bungs are useful to reduce the bass if the speakers are placed too near a wall The speakers are built to a high quality and finish, and are reassuringly heavy, at about 21Kg each. They are Bi wire, with a removable link if you do not want to run them with two speaker cable with each speaker. They are really well finished, and I think they look great, but unfortunately my wife thinks they are far too large, and don't fit in with the colour scheme we have in the room! She does not appreciate anything other than transistor radio quality in anything, and basically doesn't like music on! I have resolved the problem by getting rid of my wife and keeping the speakers LOL. Seriously, we have worked out a compromise and they are staying :)Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Heavyweight window rattlers....
Outstanding speakers. I wanted to upgrade my ageing Mission M33is which are very nice but I think lack a little bass authority. The Q Acoustics produce a powerful controlled bass which I was pleased to notice makes my windows wobble...(perfect!). The middle range is beautifully clear and articulate, the clean, detailed top end is never too sharp and the separation is superb.
