Powerfull and usefull maschine
It is not really quiet, because I can't sleep with this in room. Sound like fridge. But it is no problem for me, because basically I need it for bathroom, room where I drying clothes, and kitchen. I can see difference in drying clothes, with this dehumidifier turned on in room my clothes need only few hours to be dry. Without this maschine it needed even two days! I can see less condensation on windows, so this is big plus! I hate water on windows ! I had big problem with this because I have single glazed windows :/ now it is better, it takes really fast condensation from windows. That was good spent money. It is doing the job but
I did the comparison with Dem10 delonghi. Manufacturer product description looks the same but delonghi is a better one with similar price. The ecoair is louder than dem10. I perform few consecutive tests over 6 months now. I tried them both with the same humidity 70% measured and temperature 21 C and the same place. Dem 10 collect 2.5 l water/12 hr aircon only 1.10l. That's a double. Dem10 removed all window condensation, aircon doesn't. I have tried with loundry drying option and never reached promised 4 hr to dry clothes. Tested in two bed house. Maybe shape and modern outlook is on plus of aircon but performance not.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Excellent DIVCE TO BUY FOR DAMP
I use to have damp problem in my house due to drying clothes. Since I bought this dehumidifier by just reading previous reviews, I'm very impressed with it. My windows are clean, no more water on glass or windows. Device is really bit small and very quite while in operation. I have 2 bed house it very pretty well. I can feel the air dry in my house now, also damp areas are getting dryer and disappearing. But remember, my electric bill has sky rocket due to usage of dehumidifier. Dehumidifier has function of running at full speed or run on eco function which will be helpful to run for smaller area like 1 bedroom flat or studio flat. Excellent health benefits
I had read a lot about the benefits of dehumidifiers within your own home, cleansing the air you breath, reducing allergens as well reducing moisture which causes mold and mildew which produce harmful spores that we end up breathing in causing a multitude of problems to our respiratory system and health in general. I was quite sceptical about them before I bought one. Within an hour of switching it on I could not believe the amount of moisture that had almost filled the tank of the dehumidifier! This dehumidifier may not be the quietest but you tend not to put it on in the area your sitting. Plus you could stick to leave if on when your not in the house. I think this flexibility of usage negates the fact it's not the quietest but far far away from being the loudest. Excellent product efficient in its set task. Good Dehumidifer
Our office is in an old church, and although not damp, it is certainly a lot more humid than our previous place, so much so that our office inkjet started having problems as the paper had too much moisture content and when we printed to our laser, you would see steam or water vapour rising with big print jobs. This unit works well and draws out a lot of moisture each day, so much so, both printers are back to normal. This product looks small but it has tremendous power, gathering over 4.5 pints per day, and has done for over a long period now. If I forget to empty it, it stops and has a rest. Not as good as stated
It says suitable for 2-3 bed house. I have small 2 bedroom flat, ventilated daily and yet the dehumidifier has been running nonstop for about 3 weeks. That means the humidity never went to 50% as it should stop by itself on the "smart program". It does collect about 2L of water per day (again nowhere near what it says), so it does help a bit. It's just really weak. It's not loud and it's compact. Conclusion: Might be good for a single room, I wouldn't recommend it for a house tho.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
