Having a rangefinder mounted on your bow while you are hunting offers a tremendous advantage in stealth. It allows you to sight game without the extra movement of putting down a hand-held rangefinder and picking up your bow. The Leupold Vendetta TBR Rangefinders are leaders in the bow-mounted category. These mounts can make the difference between taking an accurate shot for a successful hunt or spooking the game and having to take that long drive back home empty-handed.The Leupold Vendetta rangefinder is compatible with almost any compound bow, and it can be mounted for left or right-handed hunters. The finder is small enough not to interfere with shooting the bow. This device is 3.8 inches wide, 2.8 inches high, and 1.3 inches deep. Its weight, including the battery and mount, is less than 10 ounces. This rangefinder is housed in a black polycarbonate case that protects it if you bump or drop it. The housing is also completely weatherproof, and the Vendetta boasts multi-coated lenses for glare reduction, clarity, and scratch-resistance. The readout is a red digital LED display that is illuminated for maximum visibility in all lighting conditions. This unit is powered by a CR2 lithium battery that will give you about 3000 activations before it needs to be replaced. An auto-off feature turns off the rangefinder after a period of non-use to preserve battery life. The Leupold Vendetta is effective from a minimum distance of 10 yards to a maximum of 70 yards. All you have to do is press the trigger pad to get a true ballistic range, or TBR, readout in order to compensate for any incline or decline between you and your target to get the corresponding horizontal distance at full draw. If your game is approaching from more than 70 yards away, you can use the one-touch scan mode on the finder to track it as it comes closer. This mode will automatically and continuously adjust the elevation, angle, and distance to the prey as it moves. These Leupold Vendettas also have red visible lasers that can be used in the sight-in mode to synchronize the rangefinders with the pins on your bow. All you need to do is line up the laser dot with your target after you have zeroed in on the target with the pin. The mounting bracket of this rangefinder mounts it securely to your bow so all its handy functions are available while you are hunting. The bracket is made of aluminum, so it will be sturdy and light. It is fully adjustable, so you can move it up, down, left, or right to find the most comfortable and effective position. great little attachment.
Too bad a third of the country won't let hunters use it. I'm lucky enough to live in a state where I can use one of these guys. I love it. Its great. It takes all the guesswork out of ranging. Maybe if Leupold comes up with another way of aligning the unit with the bow, they can get rid of that little laser. They could sell a lot more of them. Easy to install.
Mounts easily. After mounting I could not close the top on the crossbow case. My scope would not stay focused so I removed it and returned to using a hand held range finder. Leupold should take notes!
This is exactly what is needed for crossbows that have compact scopes (like most of us use). The Leupold supplied mount requires modified scope rings to fit. This works perfectly by mounting to the picatinny or Weaver rail most crossbows already have. This mount allows mounting on either side of your scope and is lower than scope ring mounts (like the one supplied by Leupold). Additionally, I was able to adjust the mount fore and aft (along the side of the scope) to locate the rangefinder at the perfect distance for my eyes to focus on it quickly (using peripheral vision while looking down the scope). This mount (I purchased the metal mount, not the previous plastic model) is extremely sturdy and of exceptional quality! I also like the ease of removing the unit and remounting it on my pellet rifle (which I use during the “off season” for pest control). I have added a spirit level to the mount also. This allows me to shoulder the crossbow, look through the scope, verify my target range, and check my cant angle... all without even moving my head or loosing my cheek weld... awesome feature when hunting game that are “motion sensitive”! Rangefinder mount.
I've been shooting the original plastic mount on my crossbow for over 7 years it broke a couple times and got replacement parts cold weather changing the genetic structure of it cause breakage this new aluminum metal framed mount is exactly what you need I highly highly recommend this and advise three of my friends to get them as well Scott is phenomenal and it done a great job I highly recommend this product

Easy and accurate.

Mount bracket
