This speaker system features a six-inch, 20-watt, downward-firing-powered subwoofer that produces seamless quality bass. The SoundSticks III utilizes a clear plastic transparency for the subwoofer-satellite combination with a pale light glowing inside, giving this device an exquisite look. The speaker and sub combination features four one-inch drivers in the 10-watt speakers that are mounted vertically. The 20-watt sub will sit on the floor and provide them with power. Great features and stereo sound.
The soundsticks III Wireless by Harman Kardon are a beautiful piece of technology to have on display on my room. I love its looks and the clear crisp sound. Of course there are much smaller speakers that could fill the room with the same volume of sound, but I haven't found one that has such clear audio from Bluetooth. I also appreciate that these speakers have the capability of working with a 3.5mm jack. I believe it is a great investment and I am seriously considering getting another pair. I hate that these days manufacturers either don't care at all for stereo separation or try to do something like using Dolby Atmos which is great but to expensive to be a reasonable expense for just listening to music on my computer.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

This is a good speaker system but not the best. I do not get the clear high in the treble as I was led to believe in the other reviews. It is good but not above that. Harman International You Did It Again!
I have the HK Soundsticks III that I was going to hook up to my computer but, I ended up not. I put it in my bedroom hooked up to my Samsung. It was a nice little 2.1 system but, I expanded it. I purchased a 3.5mm male to two 3.5mm female adapter. I plugged the adapter in, plugged the Soundsticks in, plugged in my JBL Charge 3 speaker to use as my center channel and hooked up my two JBL Flip 4’s for rear surrounds using the JBL Connect + to run everything. It sounds like a small but powerful little 5.1 system and it gets pretty loud with very little distortion if any. It actually gives a theater sound to it. I am very impressed. If I wasn’t going to get it for my computer I would’ve got the Soundsticks II because they are wireless and Bluetooth so I could run them all together. I still am going to do that to eliminate wires around the floor and tv. Don’t pass the HK Soundsticks for any other 2.1 speaker system.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

History in the Making
Always wanted a set, took many years to finally get one. Only bad thing, was a piece was bent out of box, therefore causing issues connecting and making sound. I doubled looked over every piece and tech support ready, before noticing the bent piece. I managed to unbend it, and EVERYTHING works GREAT NOW!!! Why Did I Just Now Buy A Set?
Fantastic sound from a very nice set of Harmon Kardon speakers. CDs sound better than I have ever heard them. Killer bass and 2 great satellite speakers to handle mid range and highs. Attractive styling with good sound quality.
I purchased this Harmon Kardon Soundsticks III system as a replacement for my 15 year old Bose system that died. I liked the design features for my MAC with the volume control button on one of the sound sticks, the on/off button on the subwoofer, and how the subwoofer is illuminated when turned on. Very attractive system and looks good with my 27-inch Mac. The sound quality is very good and projects well into the room. Only con is that the coaxial connetor from one of the soundsticks into the subwoofer comes loose easily, but I've fixed that. Overall very happy with the unit.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Love My Soundstick III's
I picked my Soundstick III's up to complete my custom pc build. Very simple and straight forward set up, especially if you've ever hooked up speakers before. The sound is epic for much a small 2.1 system. Very crisp highs and mids and the bass is amazing. I actually keep the bass dialed pretty far back to avoid waking the neighbors. The styling is so unique as well and they look even cooler in person. I would describe it as elegant steampunk. Really wowed
I was unsure of the quality of the sound from the HK Soundsticks III when I bought them on line. Hooked them up and I was really wowed! Great, crisp sound and wonderful base that can be adjusted to my liking. They look amazing too, a real show stopper. Highly recommend these speakers. Classic modern design in MOMA

AMAZING SOUND IN 20 YEAR OLD FUTURISTIC PACKAGE
Amazing sound in a beautiful package. They look FUTURISTIC despite a 20 year old design. Their sound is incredible although a bit directional. Perfect computer speakers or speakers for a small room. I have three sets with the subwoofer, one in office, one in den, and one in the workout room. I have liked them for 20 years and recently bought the two additional sets.
