I switched to a Kensington track ball about 8 years ago. this is the 4th time i have had to purchase and used one. The average life is about 2 years use. I have found that the ;eft hand switch or clicker as many refer to always wears down, so there's a hint at the manufacturer to improve the left and right switchers, I would never switch back to a wrist breaking mouse.

This device has no scroll wheel and therefore is effectively unusable in a modern windows environment. Very disappointed.

I bought this mouse to replace my cheap and glitchy wireless mouse and I chose trackball because I have issues with mouse mats. This mouse is great for people who have issues with slow or laggy mice, or prefer not so sensitive mice but do not like reaching across so far. You also do not need a mouse mat and a solid surface isn't much of a concern. the mouse has right click and left click only so no scroller wheel, which is an inconvenience sometimes for gaming but it is also in the description and very good for the price. The mouse is wide and looks awkward to use but it is comfortable and fits nicely in my hand (which is small) and I can use my little or next to little finger for the right click and my thumb for the left click with my palm on the slope. I have no complaints. The track ball is speedy and easy to use, it is also removable so easy to clean or travel with, and I actually got used to the trackball very quickly although some of my friends have had trouble using it. I haven't used any other trackball mice to compare to, but compare to standard wired and wireless mice I would say it is much better but that depends on your needs.Read full review
Recent medical issues have caused major hand tremors so selecting items with a normal mouse is impossible!! As the ball and button actions are individual I am able to use a computer again 👍🏻😁

The Kensington trackball gives me more control over using my mouse which tends to pickup dust and it does not end up coming off the mouse pad and gives more control over the mouse pad.

This is a fine starter trackball. Very basic two-button device, but you can enable middle button emulation and scrolling, etc. with some configuration (and some patience depending on your technical skill level).

Comfortable and easy to use. If you have not used a track-ball before you might find it takes a little getting used to - persevere and you will find you will never go back to a normal mouse. I use it for drawing - in fact i've used track-balls for a decade or more; this one is a replacement for another which wore out. The drawing package I use it on at the moment is Visio 2019 - the track-ball gives pin-point accuracy compared to a mouse. My whole family use the track-ball now for general computer us. More than happy with the purchase.
