Good value for android streaming
It's really good to be able to stream music directly from my Android phone via bluetooth. I upgraded from an MP3 CD radio for that one reason. Nobody really uses CDs these days, and with all the bumps they soon get scratched and start skipping anyway. So for me, the lack of a CD player on this unit is no issue. I prefer the lower price... The only thing this doesn't have is DAB. Again, since I'm mostly interested in streaming music from my phone I don't care, but just something to consider depending on your needs. Unlike another poster, I didn't have any issues at all with the bluetooth. Everything required for that is included (no extra components or accessories required).Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

waste of money
i wanted a new head unit for my van and thought that I would go for a well known brand with apparent good spec. I was not looking for top of the range hi-fi just a good basic unit. After looking through the endless choice on offer I opted for the jvc kd-r331 What a mistake that was, after going through the process of installation the moment came to turn the unit on and hear the clear powerful sound expected after reading the bunff that came with the unit. It Sounded more like a £5 radio from the local market, undeterred I went through the many adjustments available for bass mid and high frequencies, plus all of the predetermined settings....most made it actually sound worse ! Turn the volume up and distortion set in making the sound un bearable. I am now in the process of fitting an aftermarket amp which I did not want do due to limited space and the additional cost. New speakers have also been purchased although the original speakers worked fine with the blaupunkt unit that was already installed. I would definitely not recommend this product and advise that you could get better quality unit for less cost by shopping around. Go get something else....Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
