Crown + JBL = Excellence
Crown amps considered by many, the industry standard... (I'm not saying they are standard amps)
I believe they are the best when used with high quality mains/subs. When set up properly, you will
most definitely enjoy these amplifiers for years at flawless performance. I own 7 crown amps and each
one has performed top notch, allowing me to earn back more than 20 times their cost. For instance, my
first Crown purchase was the MA3600 in 1998. I used it to drive two 15"x4 JBL equipped Soundcraft
cabinets rated 1400w @ 4ohms each. That amplifier lasted 18 years without a single problem, until 1
channel went out in 2016. The bottom line is that Crowns amps are quality amps that last when used
properly. The Crown XTi 6002 has no problem powering the same 4-15" sub cabinets I've been using for
23 years now. Additionally, I would have complete confidence using the xti6002 in bridge mode to drive
a single SRX728S @ 4ohms... essentially providing 6000 watts to match the cabinet's 6,400 watt peak
power rating. (It's a lot of low end).
