Life saving tool!
The caliper support bracket threads stripped on my 2006 VW Polo while changing the discs and pads. Typically this happened on a Saturday afternoon! Tool was ordered on Saturday afternoon and arrived mid day Tuesday. Very straight forward to use and nice sharp drill bit which made light work of the task in hand. My only word of warning is that the alignment tool didn't perfectly match my car, but this may not be an issue for other VAG models. It was easily overcome by manually aligning the guide to the damaged thread and held in place with a clamp. Saved the day.
Good kit if you can access the back of the damaged bolt hole. Worked well with good instructions. Would have given 5 stars if the threaded inserts were supplied in a variety of lengths. Certainly saved having to replace the wheel carrier on an old Porsche.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
