I bought this as a present for a pal who is a speedway fan. He was pleased with the gift and a few days later said it was a good interesting read about a club/track he never saw as it had closed long before he became interested in the sport. So if you like to find out about old defuncted speedway clubs and tracks you should like this book.

An excellent coverage of a famous speedway track and its riders, now alas, long gone, yet preserved to be enjoyed and remembered in this excellent book by fans of the sport in the present day. Recommended reading for speedway historians. Peter Wheat.
