ReviewsEmpire - If it doesn't ultimately engage your heart as it might, Anna Karenina is period drama at its most exciting, intoxicating and modern. Spellbinding., Time - Knightley embodies Anna as a girlish woman who has never felt erotic love; once smitten, she is raised to heavenly ecstasy before tumbling into the abyss of shame.

  • " Great entertainment in the acting world "

Story very well presented, nice sets, backgrounds and amazing wardrobes. Actors are amazing and though not the typical Anna Karenina film ( seen various versions in the past ), this is a pleasure to watch. Highly recommend it, if you like to watch a classic story in a new way, where you are almost part of the audience whilst they are filming.

I enjoy historic drama but this was not what I expected. Didn't like the setting.
