Dan's Clock Shop delivered a precise, AA battery powered accurate tide clock for estimating the two high and low tide periods for ~24 hour period. The price with postage was extremely excellent. It included the cost(s) of delivery by the postal systems of the UK and the USA. The package was delivered 1 day sooner than estimated and was packed very well. Not as good as I expected at the price.t
This is a relatively poor quality product. There Is 'play' in the mechanism that means it is very difficult to accurately set the time, and the minute hand display, once set, immediately loses about a minute as the mechanism catches up. Easy replacement
This was an easy and simple replacement. I used the hands and fittings from the previous motor and the clock has been working without problems since. Take note of the advice not to fix the pin which holds the hand in place, until you are sure that everything is in position and lined up. How to easily know your Tide Times
Great way to always know when the tide is doing what it is doing. The instructions are great for installation but don't explain how to use it as a tide clock - perhaps it is assumed it is only being used for replacement in an already made tide clock.
