I just got my 33b not long ago and it has not rested. It runs cool quiet and steady.I've had good results tumbling samples from the yard,and can hardly wait to get gemstones to shape and polish up. Quiet??
This is my first tumbler, so I don't have anything to compare it to. Prior to purchasing, I read a lot of reviews that said it was quiet. Mine is not quiet by any stretch of the imagination. I have it downstairs, but can still hear it upstairs with my ceiling fans on. It sounds like a fish tank that is half full of water and needs to be filled.
