Good old AppleTV 1st Gen
I needed a 1st Gen ATV because it's the only one not needing an Internet connection and having an integrated HD so I can use it as a NAS with the iTunes interface !

Brilliant; far superior to ATV Gen 2 & 3
I bought this product as it works much better as a media playing device than the newer ATV2 & 3. It has a more stable connection with iTunes than its newer brothers and does not require the flakey HomeShare functionality. Plus it has a hard drive on which to store some of your media files so if your internet is down you can still watch some of your films/tv shows etc. It also means that you can take the ATV1 with you when you travel - you can simply connect it to the hotel TV to watch your favorite programmes when away from home, or to your friends TV to show them your photos etc etc. The ATV2 & 3 are just interfaces with no hard drive. Brilliant, just brilliant
