An exceptional lens for the price
Equally adept as a portrait lens as it is as a macro, although it’s the latter that grabs headlines. Pin sharp, with a reasonable depth of field (as macros go) compensating when handheld. If you like more candid photography it’s not a bad size /weight for walk around/street photography, even on a compact Sony body such as an a7c.
