Having owned several good quality clippers these ones are up there with the best. Very good power and performance. As several other reviewers have said, you have to be careful when using as they do get very hot and need a lot of cooling (oil and products are available for this) So time outs are also required, if your dog requires lots of grooming to let them cool, even with oil. Mine came with the metal comb set which are excellent though I do want to gradually add the correct size blades for my dog. Combs work well but can snag on a dense or curly coat. I hesitated for a while as (particularly if bought with the correct blades) they are expensive, but I took the plunge in the end on an ex demo set, which arrived in perfect as new condition.This saved a little on the price. Overall I definitely recommend my masterclip clippers. The company appear to have a great reputation and excellent customer service which adds significantly to the overall value.
