Straight loom
I think this is brilliant. A lifetime knitter but first time loom user. Took me back to my childhood when I used to do French knitting. (4 nails in a wooden cotton reel) The loom is sturdy enough and the extra pegs mean you can use dk yarn. It's easy and fun to use and produces a quick result with aran or chunky yarn. The down side is that you are limited to what you can make eg hats, scarves, but with a bit of imagination there must be lots more you can do.
