I got an absolute bargain
I already have a Velbon 7000, so when I saw this for sale, collection only, I was delighted. Luckily, my son lives a few miles away and was able to collect it. I believe it's an older model to the 7000 but if anything, it's nicer. It's smoother and the dampers work better. It's a good sturdy tripod, comparing well with the more expensive Manfrotto ones and is not too heavy to lug around. It supports my Canon XH A1 with ease. For anyone who cannot afford or justify a Manfrotto or Vinten tripod but needs a sturdy, stable mount, then you cannot go far wrong with the Velbon.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
