  • Fender Mustang III V2 amp is a winner.

Fender hit it out of the ballpark with the Mustang III V2 amp. I've had many guitar amps throughout my career, including new and vintage tube, solid state and modeling ones, and this little amp can run with the best. 100 watts, lightweight & great sounding with lots of amp models, and up to 4 effects to choose from with the onboard editor. You can keep it simple and use one of the amp models and your own effects pedals. This amp takes outboard pedals very well. You can play this amp at whatever volume you need and it sounds the same. I've replaced a Fender Twin Reverb, that I'd have to crank way too loud even with the 1/2 power mod, to sound good and I leave my pedal board at home. If you want to go deeper, the Fender Fuse software, your computer and a USB cable, makes it even easier to edit, save and load other players creations if you want. One small negative, there is no Fuse app for the Apple or Android tablets. Come on Fender! For the beginning guitar player or a veteran, you can't go wrong with the Mustang III V2.

  • Fender Mustang is the greatest!!!

For my unique purposes, this amp is the best there is. I sing a lot of small venue situations and want the effects to beautify the over all sound and, of course, my voice. It is such a pleasure to have a decently powered amp, light weight, with effects all in one easy to move and hook up set up. This is not a super powerful amp that you can hook numerous things up to. Voice and guitar. I use the lesser model, also. The Mustang II. It is great also, just not as much umph.

  • Excellent amp! Great value, good effects!

I really enjoy the Fender Mustang Amp. I have started using the foot pedals to control the effects and find it nearly as good as my tube amp setup with a big pedal board. I was really getting tired of carrying the heavy amp and board and setting it up to only use a few effects. The mustang is the perfect amp for the one trip from the car setup. Effects and modeling are better than my old boss gt-8, has a tuner. For the price of some pedals, this things is a no-brainer. Also don't have to worry about some drunk idiot spilling beer on it.

  • A very good multi-stylist amp.

It's hard to complain about amps being made in China these days...they've gotten danged good. This amp has some great amp models, with my favorite clean model titled "'57 Deluxe." That's my starting point and I've set up various overdrive patches going down on the 4-button footswitch and clean variations (with chorus, delays, etc.) going up on the footswitch. The amp has tons of clean headroom for on-stage monitoring purposes and is plenty loud to play mid-sized rooms un-mic'd. If I was pushed to complain about anything, I'd say the footswitch could have been designed to be more efficient for players who quickly change from patch to patch. But I can live with it. The features -- and sounds -- per dollar translates into excellent value. I'd certainly recommend it.

  • outstanding amp for both practice and gigs

I did a fair amount of research before buying this used Fender Mustang III amp. I was considering other Fender amps (Champion) as well as Line 6. I've had this amp for about a month and I'm still amazed and pleasantly surprised of all the different modeling setting to choose from. I'm also impressed with being able to link this amp to Fender Fuse's web site where you can add additional custom modeling settings as well as backing tracks. This 100 watt amp has the power necessary to play both at home for practice, in jam session or even on-stage during a gig. Fender did a great job with this amplifier.

  • One of Fender's best amp designs...ever.

100 watts of power, built in FX, stomp pedals and vintage amp emulations to choose from, all accessible through optional factory footswitches. Fairly lightweight, with one 12" speaker. Has the 3 prong outlet sockets to connect directly to a sound mixer PA system, so you don't have to mic it for large venues. Also, FX Loop send and receive sockets in the back side for my drum machine. No need to lug a heavy tube amp around gigging anymore. Fender hit a home run with the Mustang III, V.2.

  • A small box with a large voice

Always wanted a fender but what I got was a box of many fenders! You can get practically any type of music you want. Very easy on the weight and it looks great, just like a fender should.

  • Love this thing!

In my opinion the mustang series guitars rival their tubed counterparts in that they sound great, are extremely affordable, almost infinitely flexible, and even lighter and easier to carry around.

  • No more need to by pedals!

This amp is loud! (; I don't need much above 2 to play at home. It has ALL of the pedals I need built in! So I don't need to buy pedals anymore. It models all the amps I want and can't afford('65 princeton, '65 deluxe reverb or just the '65 reverb...which is over 6k in amps there). It models just about any amp you can think of. It is easier to adjust the presets on the amp or though the software! Yes you can connect it to your pc or Mac and make changes there too. All of this and it is only about 35lbs! My 100watt from the 80's is closer to 75lbs! So its light!
