This dvd is so enjoyable. So glad I bought it. The stories are varied and entertaining with Cilla having the starring role in all of them. I did not see the programmes at the time , doing my training, so pleased to see it now. All the well known actors of the time, working with Cilla. In this dvd Cilla proves herself as a versatile actress, totally immersed in the role, so different from the comedy sketches in the tv show. I did love her tv shows, but here she is really playing a character. I am slighty biased as I love all things 60s and 70s, and find I am drawn to watching them rather than todays entertainment. Cilla Black at her best.
This is Cilla at her best very entertaining - it is 6 different comedy sitcom type episodes with a different male actor playing Cilla's husband it is a lot of fun and the stage sets are amazing you will enjoy looking at the wall paper and furniture from that time as well as the make up haircuts and fashion. I truly enjoyed it - wish their were more - it was fab great & groovy loved it!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
